Bluepot - A Free Bluetooth Honeypot for Pentesters and Security Researchers

Bluepot is free and open-source Bluetooth honeypot framework designed for security research and penetration testing. It creates multiple virtual Bluetooth devices, simulating vulnerable endpoints to attract attackers.

Requirements

You need linux, you need root and you need to have at least 1 bluetooh receiver (if you have many it will work with those, too).

You must install:

  • libbluetooth-dev on Ubuntu
  • bluez-libs-devel on Fedora
  • bluez-devel on openSUSE
