Motorola announces ThinkPhone 25 smartphone for Business, and It is actually Affordable

Motorola has announced its ThinkPhone 25, a productivity-focused smartphone aimed at business consumers, following the company’s introduction of the first ThinkPhone last year.

The ThinkPhone 25 retains the same aesthetic and enterprise focus as the ThinkPhone, though it comes with updated specs that closely resemble the Motorola Edge 50 Neo.

The ThinkPhone 25 offers deep integration with Lenovo PCs and Motorola tablets, including automatic syncing, a shared keyboard and mouse, centralized notifications, and the ability to use the phone’s main camera as a webcam.

For B2B customers, Motorola is offering Moto Device Manager, which gives IT departments the ability to remotely manage devices.

Motorola has promised five years of Android OS updates and security updates through 2029. The enterprise feature extends to malware and phishing detection, and additional wireless security.

The ThinkPhone 25 comes with an IP-68 rating and MIL-STD 810H certification, and features an under-display fingerprint reader, face unlock, ThinkShield management solutions, and ThinkShield Security solutions.

It features a 6.36-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 2670 x 1220 pixels, a density of 460 pixels per inch, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

The display is blue light and motion blur reduction certified by SGS, with a peak brightness of 3000 nits.

The Motorola device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, which is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of uMCP internal storage.

There’s a triple rear camera setup, with a 50MP main lens with Sony’s LYTIA 700C sensor, optical image stabilization, and f/1.8 aperture, a 10MP telephoto lens with f/2.0 aperture, and a 13MP ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree field of view. There’s also a 32MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture.

The device is powered by a 4,310mAh battery with support for 68W fast wired charging and 15W fast wireless charging.

Other notable features include Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, and WiFi 6E.
