OpenAI Launches 4 New AI Tools

The American artificial intelligence software company "OpenAI" launched 4 new tools that developers can use to design and build applications and models in a more advanced and easy way, during the "2024DevDay" conference.
The company explained in a post on its official blog that these new tools include a real-time application programming interface (Realtime API), which allows controlling the sound mode with 6 different voices with the possibility of audio input and output.
The tools also included a feature to modify models using images and texts by improving the visual inputs of the GPT-4o model, which enables artificial intelligence applications to perform advanced visual search, detect objects in self-driving cars, and analyze medical images.
The company also provided developers with the Model Distillation tool, to modify small models based on the outputs of large models in order to reduce costs, in addition to the Prompt Caching support feature, which works to reduce costs and reduce response time by up to 50%.
