Tired of Your Google Photos Takeout Chaos? TRY MetaSort, The Ultimate Cleanup Tool for Your Google Photos
You finally downloaded your Google Photos Takeout. A massive archive. Thousands of photos and videos. Memories from years of birthdays, vacations, family gatherings, and everyday moments.
But here’s the catch: it’s a digital dumpster fire.
Files are named IMG_001234.jpg, VID_20230515_142312.mp4. Dates are buried in folders with no clear structure. Duplicate files everywhere. No consistent naming. And worse, you can’t find anything when you want to relive that perfect beach sunset from 2019.
This isn’t just frustrating. It’s heartbreaking. You’ve spent years capturing life, only to lose it in disorganization.
The Problem, about Google Photos
Google’s Takeout is powerful… but it’s raw. It gives you the data, not the meaning. It doesn’t care about your timeline, your albums, or your memories. It just dumps everything into a folder, and leaves you to figure it out.
Most “organizers” either:
- Charge $50+ for basic features
- Break on large libraries
- Fail to preserve metadata (like GPS location, camera model, and EXIF data)
- Or worse, don’t work at all
The Solution? MetaStort!
MetaSort is the first AI-powered, open-source tool built specifically for cleaning up Google Photos Takeout archives, it doesn’t just rename files, It understands them.
And yes, it’s free, Open-source, built by developers who’ve been there. Who lost their own photos in chaos.
There is no subscriptions, or any hidden fees. Just a simple, powerful app that brings order back to your life.
With one click, MetaSort:
- Extracts and reads embedded EXIF and GPS metadata
