Lanchat is a free open-source messenger app for local network messaging (LAN), that works for Windows, Linux, and macOS.

It features a built-in encryption, file transfer, automatic connection and terminal UI.

Unfortunately, the developer has stopped developing it, even though it has many users started to use it.

I will not continue development of Lanchat after 2.10 release. Any bugs or security issues will not be fixed. Please consider using alternatives. (Lanchat's developer)
